Cuánto tiempo sin vernos ¿no?

Sigo dándole vueltas a unas cositas que quiero sacar en septiembre y el tema de la producción es nuevo para mí, así que me lleva demasiado tiempo. Espero ir cogiendo el ritmo a partir de ahora y que no pase tanto tiempo sin actualizar el blog.

Long time without hearing from me, huh?

I keep on working in some little issues I want to launch in September... The production matter is totally new for me, so it is taking too much time. I hope I can get a good pace from now in order to be able to update the blog more frequently.

Hola a todos, ya va tocando que haga un post, que ya ha pasado un tiempecito desde el anterior.
He estado muy liada con un proyecto que todavía tardaré un tiempo en enseñaros. Ahora que lo tengo definido me he tomado un descanso haciendo unos experimentos con otras de las fotos que tomé hace un tiempo en el jardín botánico de Madrid, son otro rollo, de vez en cuando hace falta un cambio ¿no?. Hello everyone, it´s time to make a new post, ‘cause it’s too long since the last one.
I´ve been busy with a new proyect that I can´t show you yet. Now it is defined I take a break to do some experiments with some other pictures I took in the botanical garden of Madrid, they are kinda different from my usual topics, but some times one needs a change, isn’t it?
Here you are some of them.

I´m back again

Esta es la primera navidad del jardín rojo, así que voy a aprovechar para desearos a todos desde aquí una feliz navidad. Espero que os olvidéis de todo lo que os preocupe y os concentréis en disfrutar de la gente que os hace sentir bien.

Por fin

Durante este año he estado haciendo una colaboración con una empresa de Nueva York que hace ropa infantil, se llama Convertible designs y su producto principal consiste en unas chaquetas que se transforman en juguete, son muy originales, echadles un vistazo.

Conmigo contaron para otro producto, me encargaron el diseño de cuatro estampados para chaquetas y me dijeron que aparecieran en cada una de ellas un animal: una rana, una mariquita, un escarabajo y una tortuga. Todavía no puedo mostraroslas porque aun están en proceso de producción. Pero con los personajes también han hecho unas camisetas que ya han salido a la venta en Nueva york, así que en estos días os las iré mostrando.

At last!!

During this year I’ve been collaborating with a Company in New York, producers of children clothes. Its name is Convertible designs and its main product is a jacket convertible in toy, very original, take a look to their website.
They contacted me for another product, they entrusted me with the design of four patterns for their jackets and they told me they wanted animals as principal characters: a frog, a ladybug, a beetle and a turtle. I cannot show them yet because they are still in production process. But, the characters were also used to make some t-shirts, which are on sale now in New York, so I will show them within these days.

Today, let me introduce you the frog.

Pattern girl

Hoy el mundo ha despertado bajo la sombra de una nueva amenaza. La historia se repite una vez más, un nuevo supervillano pretende hacerse con el control del mundo. Su nombre es Pattern girl y su malévolo plan es invadir cada rincón del mundo con su ejercito de estampados. ¡Corred a casa y proteged vuestras indefensas paredes!

No, no me he vuelto loca, todavía. Esto es la respuesta a la original propuesta del diseñador gráfico Rafa Simón. Desde su blog formula la pregunta ¿ Qué superhéroe serías? Yo he colado a una supervillana, ya sabéis lo que se dice, ten a tus amigos cerca y a tus archienemigos más. Os dejo el enlace a su página web, http://www.rafasimon.com/ desde la que podéis ver a los demás superhéroes, participar en esta propueta tan divertida si os apetece y de paso ver los trabajos de Rafa que son muy interesantes.

The world woke up today under the shadow of a new menace. The story repeats again and again; a new super-villain wants to get the world’s control. Her name is pattern-girl and her wicked plan is to invade every spot in the world with her patterned soldiers... Run away! Go home and protect your defenseless walls!

No, I’m not mad... yet! This is the answer to the original proposal of the graphic designer Rafa Simón. He asks in his blog “which superhero would you be?” And that’s why I made this super-villain. You know what is said “be close to your friends and closer to your enemies”. Here you are the link for his website: www.rafasimon.com where you can check the rest of superheroes and take part of this funny proposal if you want to, and incidentally you can see Rafa’s work which is really interesting.

Vuelvo a mis orígenes. Hoy os traigo una prueba de un papel pintado y una aplicación en mobiliario. Y la temática va muy bien con la época, porque por lo menos aquí en España, el otoño acaba de llegar de repente, así que unas hojitas para darle la bienvenida

I return to my origins. Here you are a test of a wallpaper and an application in furniture. The thematic is quite appropriate for this season, at least here in Spain. Autumn has just come, suddenly, so here you have some little leaves to welcome Autumn.

El retorno

Ya estoy de vuelta, las vacaciones para mi definitivamente han acabado, espero que vosotros hayais disfrutado las vuestras y vengais con fuerzas renovadas.

He estado sin actualizar el blog mucho tiempo y es que este verano he tenido una mudanza, había estado viviendo en Madrid y ahora he vuelto a casa, a Granada, tambien he estado trabajando en algunos proyectos y por supuesto necesitaba descansar y lo he hecho. Ahora vuelvo con muchas ganas de hacer cosas nuevas. Verdaderamente, en esta época, es cuando yo siento que empieza un nuevo periodo, así que es el momento de decir que seguro que el que viene va a ser un gran año.
Para la vuelta os he traido unos experimentos que he estado haciendo con unas fotos que tomé en el jardín botánico de Madrid, quizá os enseñe alguna más en otra ocasión.

The return

I’m back. Holidays for me are definetely finished. I hope you enjoyed your days and all of you come back with renewed strenght.

It is too long without blog’s update and it is because I moved this summer. I’ve been living in Madrid and now I’m back at home in Granada. I’ve been also working on different projects and of course I need some time to relax and I took it!

Now I’m back and I really want to start making new things. This is the part of the year when I really feel that the new period starts, so I really hope this would be a great year.

For this return, I bring with me some experiments I’ve been made with some pictures I took in the botanical garden in Madrid. Maybe I would show you more of this in further occasion.

May all you have a happy return to your ordinary life.

Artistas con corazón

Hola de nuevo

Quiero presentaros, para quién no la conozca, la iniciativa Artistas con corazón. Se trata de una exposición colectiva en la que se venden artesanías de todo el mundo y cuya recaudación íntegra se destina a la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer.

Si queréis colaborar, podéis hacerlo enviando algún trabajo para que se venda en la exposición, todavía estáis a tiempo, informaos en Artistas con corazón.

Y si podéis, pasaos a visitar la exposición, estoy segura que merecerá la pena, participa gente muy buena y tal vez encontréis alguna cosita que comprar.

Hi again! I want to introduce you, to those who do not know it, the initiative “Artists with Heart”. It is a collective exhibition where you can find and buy worldwide craftworks and all the money collected is going to be donated the the Spanish Association against Cancer.

If you want to collaborate, you can send any of your work to be sold at the exhibition, you are still on time. Get more information at Artists with Heart.

And please come to visit the exhibition if you can. I’m sure it is worthy. There are great artists there and probably you will find something to buy. The exhibition will take place in Torrelavega (Santander), from 20th August onwards

Quiero hacer más diseños en la linea de las ballenas que ya conocéis, intentaré hacer una serie de personajes imaginarios, mis monstruitos particulares, esto es solo la primera prueba.
